Nina Kruger is a South African artist currently enrolled in the MA in Fine Arts program at the University of Art in Poznań, Poland. She completed her BA FA degree in South Africa at the University of Pretoria.

Natural and organic materials are used in her works to explore themes such as temporality and contingency. Nina observes her surroundings and collects different kinds of materials that she transforms in her work. The process of art-making plays a significant role in the outcome of her work and often this process is documented. Her works are regarded as abject and touch on post-humanist theories.

Nina has been part of several exhibitions during her career and was awarded the second merit award at the Barclays L’Atelier Competition, winning a residency at the Sylt Kuns Raum in Germany. She also founded ‚That Island Art Collective’ in Pretoria where she hosted and curated various exhibitions at Fook Island – the former home of renowned South African Artist Walter Battis.982 roku w Pucku. W 2008 roku obroniła pracę dyplomową z grafiki warsztatowej i rysunku na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Poznaniu (obecnie UAP), w latach 2007–2008 studiowała grafikę na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Bratysławie. W latach 2009–2013 odbyła studia doktoranckie na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Krakowie na Wydziale Grafiki. Od 2013 roku jest adiunktem w Pracowni Tkaniny Artystycznej na Wydziale Malarstwa i Rysunku UAP. Współkuratorka w Galerii Szewska 16.
